Contemporary room, bed was large plus there was a spotless bathroom. I was surprised by the lovely city view. The location was amazing, for example, City Walls was at a walking distance from the hotel.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were very unhelpful.

Location of hotel is excellent, with on site parking and good transport to city centre. Hotel is a very well decorated and luxurious place to stay. The breakfast service was excellent.
Some staff were at times aloof in their attitude to customers. There was no swimming pool.

great access to parks and major attractions for weekend explorers
I appreciated how everything I wanted to see, including Grosvenor Park just a short 10-minute walk away and the fine Chester Cathedral only a bit over 1 km away, was so easily accessible to me as a city wanderer.

Good location near the train station and close to the Town Centre. Room was quiet and very spacious. Large bathroom with bathtub and separate shower.
The room (1309) was very dusty. Since the room was not ready when we arrived, but there was a layer of dust on the Nespresso machine, we took a closer look around the room.
